Andy says...
Mr. Warhol's thoughts on death:
"I'm so sorry to hear about it. I just thought that things were magic and that it would never happen."

MOSS-DAY MONDAY!

Laurel said that I should post about something green. I chose moss. Here is what I have learned so far:
#1. There are 12,000 species of moss classified in the division bryophyta.
#2. At one time, the division bryophyta included liverworts and hornworts but now they have their own division.
#3. There are six classes of moss within the division bryophyta:
-takakiopsida
-sphagnopsida
-andreaeopsida
-andreaeobryopsida
-polytrichopsida
-bryopsida
#4. In the 19th century moss-collecting became popular. This passing fad resulted in the creation of "mosseries" in many British and American gardens.
#5. Mosses like shade.
(moss facts from wikipedia.org)
I like moss. It is neat.

Introducing: Zeitgeist!!
SHE IS WILD.

SHE IS INFECTIOUS.

SHE IS ADORABLE.

This is Zeitgeist. She is a baby kitty that lives in an apartment in Brooklyn. We have yet to meet person to kitty but, sometimes her Laurel sends me text messages and post cards all about the adventures that she has been having. From these messages I have learned that Zeitgeist enjoys climbing in boxes, sitting on Laurel, and chewing on the edges of postcards. Recently, I know that she has had some issues with some bugs. So, I hope that this makes you feel better, baby cat. An exciting blog post dedicated entirely to Y-O-U. xo c.
